糖尿病视网膜病变发病机制及基因治疗;老年性黄斑变性发病机制及干细胞治疗;白内障研究
徐国彤教授本科毕业于哈尔滨医科大学,之后先后获得美国北德克萨斯大学药理学博士和中国医学科学院北京协和医院医学(眼科)博士。美高梅教授、眼科研究所所长、华东干细胞库/美高梅干细胞库主任、附属第十人民医院转化中心首席研究员。承担科技部、国家自然科学基金委、中科院及上海市多项重要科研项目,包括两次作为首席科学家承担973重大科学研究计划“干细胞资源库与干细胞研究关键技术平台”及“干细胞治疗视网膜变性疾病的基础及临床转化研究”项目。在EPO治疗糖尿病视网膜变性及成体干细胞干预视网膜变性领域做出了系统性研究和重要贡献。
